Joseph M. Mersol, MSFS, CLU^®, ChFC^®, CASL^®, AEP^®, CAP^®, RICP^®, ChSNC^®

Founder & CEO

Joe is the founder and president of Mersol Financial Solutions LLC. and has been a professional in the financial services industry since 1994. Joe is driven to help others achieve their financial and estate planning goals. He works with a select group of individuals who love their families and are committed to being involved in the planning process.

Joe is a retired Major distinguishing himself by earning the Defense Meritorious Service Medal the Meritorious Service Medal with oak leaf cluster, the Army Commendation Medal with oak leaf cluster, the Joint Service Achievement Medal, the Army Achievement Medal with oak leaf cluster, the overseas service ribbon, the National Defense Service Medal and the Army Parachutist Badge.

Joe has worked extremely hard to be the most technically proficient advisor in his field. He earned his bachelor's degree and was awarded the distinguished military graduate from the John Carroll University. Joe's specific education industry education includes the following:

Joe has earned many industry awards including qualifying and lifetime membership to the Million Dollar Round Table member, former President, Officer and Hall of Fame Inductee of the Youngstown-Warren Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors; member and past president of the Mahoning Shenango Valley Estate Planning Council awarded the president's gavel for leadership; Marketplace Circle of Champion recipient Joe is been very active in the community to include:

• Board Member of the Lake to River Ohio Chapter of the American Red Cross
• Charter member of the Military Officers Association for the Mahoning and Shenango Valleys Chapter
• Member of the Youngstown Warren Community Chamber of Commerce.
• Past president and former member of the Springfield local Schools’ Board of Education.

Joe is an investment advisor representative with Eagle Strategies LLC. a registered investment advisor. Joe also has access through the New York Life advance planning team that provides in house support of planning professionals with credentials in law, taxation, accounting, insurance and finance. Joe offers both of these resources to help in developing of comprehensive estate and financial plan. Joe is married to his wife Lee Ann of 33 years and they have two sons Matt and Bryan.

Bryan Mersol

Financial Services Professional

Bryan joined Mersol Financial Solutions in 2013. Growing up in a military family, Bryan realized the importance of respect, being active in one's community, and putting others first. His main goal was to make his grandfather's motto a reality in his life: "If you take care of others, God will take care of you."

Bryan began looking for ways to live out this motto while in college, beginning with pursuing a BS in Business Administration degree from John Carroll University. He also began interning with Mersol Financial Solutions, the family business, while in college. Bryan graduated from the university in May 2017 and now dedicatedly serves his community in his position as an agent with New York Life. Bryan feels success is his ethical duty and passionately pursues success for his clients. Bryan as a new agent in his first three years earned almost every Company and industry award including the 1st Centurion in over 20 years, new organizational agent of the year and member of the Million Dollar Round Table. Bryan is engaged to the beautiful and wonderful Julie Phillis

When not in the office, Bryan enjoys running, working out, camping and spending time with his loved ones.

Nancy Trolio

Office Manager

Nancy L. Trolio is an exceptional and talented individual who has worked with Joe Mersol for the past 26 years. She is a native to the Youngstown area, a home maker who has raised two wonderful children, Vincent and Rachel, and whom has been married to her husband of 30 years, Mark Trolio. In addition to her duties with Mersol Financial Solutions, LLC., she has found the time to assist her husband in the successful operation of their automotive business Ram Tuff Muffler located in Struthers Ohio.

Nancy is a licensed service assistant meeting the rigorous knowledge and compliance requirements of the New York Life. She is the expert on servicing existing contracts for life and health insurance and has the institutional knowledge to resolve almost any issue with extraordinary results.

Nancy's professionalism, compassion and enthusiasm have assisted thousands of thankful clients during emotional times and she has been instrumental to any successes achieved by the office.

Rebecca Cunningham

Client Management Specialist

Rebecca, more commonly referred to as Becca, is a high-energy and positive individual. She joined the team in December 2020, and she has been brightening clients' experiences ever since. She earned an Associate's Degree in Business from Eastern Gateway, and she is dedicated to ensuring your visit to our office is the best it can be! In her free time, she enjoys walking at the park, baking, and spending time with her husband, Brian, and their two cats, Zep and Gizmo.

Becca's favorite part of being at the office is working with and meeting new clients. She is so good at her job because her genuinely kind and caring demeanor makes it easy for her to connect with clients and bring out the best in them. If you haven't met Becca yet, you're in for a treat!

Ellie

"Professional Beggar"

Ellie is the furriest member of Mersol Financial. She joined the team in August 2019, when her owners (Julie and Bryan) rescued her from an abusive puppy mill situation. Due to her previous circumstance, she is still a little wary of strangers, but she is becoming more and more curious and eager every day. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the outdoors, enjoying Handel's Dogster treats, or receiving belly rubs. Most weekdays you can find Ellie in the Mersol Financial office, begging for treats or socializing with her coworkers.

Ricky Bobby, C.F.F. (RIP)

Chief Feathered Friend

Ricky Bobby has been a champion of Mersol Financial Solutions, LLC since his birth at the Roger's Flea Market in Rogers, Ohio. Ricky assisted Joe in the development of the "SWAN" (Sleep Well at Night) plan. Ricky is one that believes that to be professional we must have a deep relationship with our clients, understanding their goals, dreams and concerns incorporating all into a plan that provides the best course of action for success. Ricky knew that once clients engage in our process a weight is taken off their shoulders almost as if the client has the ability to fly. Ricky visited many of the local nursing home facilities having his picture taken with the patients. He was a local neighborhood star and enjoys swimming in the pool with family and friends. He flew to Duck heaven after providing much love and memories for his family over 11 ½ years.
